Drawing is the foundation for all art; it is the primary and essential discipline for anyone who would like to learn the basics of drawing. This class is designed for the beginner and anyone looking to develop good skills and, more importantly, learn to “see” with an artist’s eye. This class will concentrate on shapes, values, edges and composition – everything except color. Many of the exercises will include measuring and  negative shapes. The end game will have the student ready to take on any of the wonderful mediums of color.
