The question for this workshop is: “How do we feel about and think through ideas of Home?” Each participant’s encounter of ‘home’ is unique. What form does your experience take?
Participants will bring an object to the workshop, something that signifies their personal experience of home. Participants will draw their objects, which will be turned into a simple animation. The artist would like to audio-record participants’ ideas about what “home” means to them.
Artmaking materials will be provided, but students will need to download the free STOP MOTION STUDIO app on their phones. Download the free version here.
Class will break midday for lunch and reconvene in the afternoon to complete the workshop.
