Book Talk: Edgar Kunz in Conversation with Shore Lit Founder Kerry Folan
Friday, February 21st 6 pm

“My great subject, my first and most lasting obsession, is money. What we have to do to get it, how both having and not having twists us up,” writes poet Edgar Kunz. His second book of poetry, Fixer (Ecco/Harper Collins, 2023), explores labor and art, precarity and stability, productivity and pleasure. A New York Times Editors’ Choice and an Electric Lit best poetry collection of the year, Fixer is a keen examination of what it costs to build a life that sustains. Kunz will read a selection of poems, followed by an audience Q&A. This event is free and open to the public.
This event will be held at the Academy Art Museum.
