Beginners and those who already work in other media will enjoy this hands-on experience in printmaking. Once a week for four weeks, explore this medium of endless possibilities and surprises. Encounter a variety of methods to make an impression, including Monotypes, relief printing using linoleum blocks, and collographs. Non-toxic, water-based Akua inks and Akuacolor are used to make prints on paper using the press. This is a great class for those who would like to venture into the wonderful world of printmaking held in the Museum’s new Visual Arts Studio. No experience necessary.
