Does the idea of printing your favorite images onto fine archival paper appeal to you? Have you ever thought of documenting your family, your travels or your creative photography onto thick deckle-edged paper for the purpose of exhibiting as a fine art print, acceptable for showing in a gallery or museum exhibition? Come to the Printmaking studio and learn how to make these appealing works with the Dass method of photo transfer. Bring images taken with a smart phone or other camera, in color or in black and white. The students will use the Museum’s ink  jet printer to copy the image onto a special film, which will then be transferred onto beautiful Arches 88 archival paper. A tutorial will be given on how to present these works in a shadowbox frame with the deckle exposed as one sees in Museum collections.
