The Museum introduces a special after-school class for children interested in sculpting with different types of moldable materials. Aspiring sculptors will learn how to work with different types of clay and make their own clays from scratch out of a variety of different materials. They will also learn how to work with sculpting tools and armatures as well as experimenting with additive, subtractive, molding, and texturizing techniques. Ceramic clays, polymer clays, paper clay, oil clays, and more will be explored.
