Combines in Design: A Mixed Media Workshop Inspired by the Robert Rauschenberg exhibit

Be inspired by joining a class tour of Robert Rauschenberg’s current exhibit at AAM followed by the creation of your own improvisational mixed media 2-D assemblage. Students will compose with layers of papers, photos, sheet music, and ephemera while adding paint, graphite, and pastels on canvas. Materials will be provided; Participants are welcome to bring personal images to incorporate. A wrap-up discussion of our works will include a guest artist to add insight to the afternoon’s experience.
Cost: $120 Members / $145 Non-Members
* $20 paid to instructor day of class
Size: Minimum of 4 students, maximum of 10
