Join our weekly workshop for an opportunity to learn tips and tricks for working in pastels. You’ll be able to gain new skills, share and receive feedback, and experiment with a buffet of the instructor’s personal materials laid out for you to try. We’ll also enjoy snacks, real coffee, good music and camaraderie as Barrie makes the rounds between students’ easels offering guidance to help you achieve your painting goals. All individual styles and creative approaches are honored and encouraged!

Cost: $25 (Members) / $35 (Non-Members) *No registration required – please pay at the front desk on arrival
Supplies: Bring what you have, borrow what you don’t from instructor’s collection
Level: All levels welcome, from beginners to advanced!

Printmaking Studio

Bio: Barrie Barnett has been a professional portrait painter for more than 50 years, specializes in pastels, but was also trained in charcoal and oil in formal education from age 9-20. She comes from a long line of painters, and is a Signature Member of the Pastel Society of America.
