AAM Summer Series: Exchange – A Pop-up Art Expo
Exchange is a pop-up art expo that invites 4 artisans and 4 creative entrepreneurs from around Maryland to exhibit and sell artwork and creative offerings to the Eastern Shore community. On Saturday, August 6 from 2-5 pm, visit the Academy Art Museum to browse and purchase exhibited artworks and crafts. This event will also include an interactive polaroid mural, food, raffle and adult beverages. Attendees will have the chance to vote for their favorite exhibitors in each category: Art and Craft.
About Organizer, Brea Soul
Brea Soul is a multifaceted communication and marketing specialist by day and a multimedia storyteller by night, hosting the interview series “Sights, Sound, Soul.” She received a B.A. in Fine Arts and minored in art history from UMD and is working on her M.A. in Strategic Communications from UMGC. She is passionate about discovering and creating exposure opportunities for the inspiring creative culture and among communities with opportunity disparities.
About AAM Summer Series
The Academy Art Museum enlisted five local creatives to design and execute summer programs at the museum from June through September. AAM’s Community Programmers include Kerry Folan, Marco Garcia, Tori Paxon, Francisco Salazar and Brea Soul.
