Rhinos, Rats and Roosters! Some animals are just gorgeous: examples of the beauty that Mother Nature has bestowed upon the Earth. But what about the more homely? We will look at some of the less popular inhabitants of Earth; see how they have been depicted by well-known artists such as Dürer, Bosch, and Picasso; and make some art of our own. Students will hone their painting and drawing skills and learn to use different color themes and styles. All materials provided. Maximum 8 children.

The Academy Art Museum is dedicated to providing children a safe place to make art during the pandemic. Camps are operating a reduced capacity, students must wear face masks at all times, hand sanitizer is available on every table, and there is no sharing of materials. Please do not send sick children to camp.
