11am – Storytime with Omeaka Jackson of Cambridge, President, CEO, and founder of Harvesting Hope Youth and Family Wellness, Inc.
12pm – Docent Reflections: Karen Bailor discusses renowned African-American artist and sculptor Martin Puryear’s Black Cart (2008)
1pm – Music by Kentavius Jones
2pm – Children’s Craft with Constance Del Nero, Museum Director of Children’s Education & Community Programs. Make a Liberian Wisdom lizard. Supplies needed: White paper, pencil, eraser, brown marker and black and gold Sharpies.
3:30pm – Music by Alison Crockett
4:30pm – Docent Reflections: Docent Barbara Obrecht discusses the late beloved Baltimore African-American artist Tom Miller.
6pm – Recording of Zoom Virtual Studio with Baltimore-based African-American artist Antonio McAfee, the Museum’s current Artist-in-Residence for 2020 and subject of the upcoming exhibition Antonio McAfee: Legacy
