ZOOM LECTURE
The possibility of fixing an image has captured human imagination since antiquity. In this four-part lecture, AAM Curator and photographer Mehves Lelic introduces the invention and historical development of processes that made the medium a multiplex tool for artistic production, visual communication and scientific documentation, and brought on its pivotal role in contemporary culture. Lelic will discuss the work of seminal photographers, and relevant sociopolitical and critical context(s) that help decipher meaning and relevance.
