Juneteenth is the oldest nationally celebrated commemoration of the ending of slavery in the United States. To honor Juneteenth 2019 we present a selection of works from the Museum’s Permanent Collection, including prints by Sam Gilliam, Martin Puryear, Thomas Miller, Robert Riggs and Ruth Starr Rose.
