Melting clocks, magical beings, floating people, and strange optical illusions, oh my! We will explore the fascinating, fun, weird, and often wacky world of Surrealism and Magical Realism this workshop. Students will learn about the fascinating works of Salvador Dali, Rene Magritte, and Remedios Varo, among others, and explore the creative processes, games, and techniques that these artists used to help them compose creations that express the depths of their imaginations and the imagery of their dreams, hearts, and minds.
