Explore the dynamic qualities of the human figure by focusing on rhythm, balance, and the interplay between active and passive elements in each pose. This class emphasizes the flowing movement within a figure and the relationships among masses that create a sense of balance. Diane will provide live demonstrations in each session, guiding participants through exercises that highlight these foundational elements. Each week, students are encouraged to complete a study in their preferred medium. Prior experience with figure painting is recommended but not required, making this class suitable for artists eager to enhance their understanding of form and movement.
Class Size: Minimum of 5 students, maximum of 10.
