This class offers an in-depth exploration of the human figure by breaking it down into individual parts and examining how each contributes to the whole. Using handouts, a 3D anatomical model, and live models, participants will develop a comprehensive understanding of anatomy to create more realistic figures. Each week will focus on a different area—such as the torso, head, arms, or legs—and participants will complete a study for each topic, using pencil or charcoal. Prior figure drawing experience is recommended but not required, making this class ideal for artists eager to enhance their skills in figure study.
Class Size: Minimum of 5 students, maximum of 10.
