More Clay! The Power of Repetition – Community Call
July 3rd, 2025
September 4, 2025–February 8, 2026
Join us for a collaborative community “de Waal” Wall ceramic installation!
What is it? Potters are invited to make 3–5 minimalist and repetitive cylindrical forms for a collaborative installation in the Academy’s special ceramic exhibition, More Clay, originally presented at the Katzen Arts Center at American University. Our guest curator, Rebecca Cross, and AAM’s curator at large, Lee Glazer, will stack and arrange the forms into a community art installation inspired by English ceramic artist Edmund de Waal.
RSVP your entry and participation by July 3, 2025. Space is limited!
