Experience the magic of Raku Firing in this hands-on instructional workshop! Master potter and raku teacher Brett Thomas will lead us in glazing and firing pieces on site at AAM. Students must bring 3-5 previously bisqued Raku clay pieces with a maximum size of 8 inches wide by 12 inches tall. Please no straight slabs or overly large bowls. All tools and safety equipment will be provided, but please wear a long sleeve shirt and pants and closed toed shoes. Please contact Loretta at AAM clay (lowmansculpture@gmail.com) if you are wanting to participate but are not a current ceramics student, and we will arrange for bisquing your greenware 2 weeks prior to the workshop. A super fun day to be had by all, please join us! Materials provided.
