No drawing skills or prior experience required. Students will pry open their artist’s soul and learn to express what they find there by journaling with fearless mark making. Both seasoned and beginning artists will gain insight into their creative spirit as they paint, write, and collage a two-page spread each day using a discarded book, repurposed paper, glue sticks, dollar store paint and brushes, and other improvised materials. The instructor will show samples and give weekly prompts and tips, and the entire class will join a weekly group Zoom discussion to view their results uploaded on a shared screen with a free app (it’s easy). Students are invited to bring their favorite beverage and grow their artist’s spirit. Minimum of 6, maximum of 10 students.
