Drawing from Life: Visiting Artist Workshop with Juliette Aristides
Saturday & Sunday, May 30th & 31st, 10am - 3pm

Two day workshop: Saturday, May 30th and Sunday, May 31st, 10am – 3pm
The nude is the most enduring subject in art. When we draw the human form, we reflect on ourselves. In this workshop students will learn how beautiful figure drawings are created. Over the course of several days, students will work with both short and long poses: diving into gesture, proportion, and form. Studio sessions will start with a daily demonstration and discussion before drawing from the model. Aristides will alternate critiques and ongoing drawings so that students can see how finished drawings from the model develop. The most engaging drawings combine technique and expression. Students will have the opportunity to develop both aspects of drawing throughout the workshop as we explore the beauty of the human form. All Levels welcome www.aristidesarts.com
*Please also join us the evening of Friday, May 29th for a conversation and booking signing with the artist.
