Painting Studio
Pastel is a wonderful medium for depicting skies in their many guises, from dramatic cloud masses to the glowing colors of sunrise. Demos and personal instruction will enable students to explore the versatility and flexibility of pastel techniques, including underpainting, layering, glazing, and surface modification. Students will explore how different colors and textures of pastel painting surfaces affect the painting process. They should have some pastel experience. Minimum of 5 students, maximum of 10.
