This class provides students of all levels with an introduction to using an iPad and Procreate as a digital sketchbook. Basics of the Procreate interface and usage of Apple Pencil will be covered as well as an overview of digital brush fundamentals. Exercises will guide students through a variety of Procreate concepts and explore the replication of traditional drawing and painting media. Jason will also cover various grayscale and color approaches and techniques to using a digital sketchbook as a companion to non-digital work (value and color studies, composition planning, digital plein air, etc.). Minimum of 4 students, maximum of 10 students.
