In this workshop Abby will instruct students on how to create a geometric or more atmospheric abstract work with a strong compositional quality. Students will explore various abstract elements, such shape, pattern, texture, and line, while experimenting with various methods to implement these. We will discuss abstract artists’ work to broaden our understanding while creating various color studies in gouache before transitioning to a larger canvas. Gouache and acrylic mediums will be used. Minimum 5 students, maximum 10.
