This class is ideal for students with some basic drawing skills who are interested in learning the unique attributes of graphite in drawing still-lifes, landscapes, or portraits. Information will be shared on how to use graphite as a medium and the range of effects that can be achieved by using different forms (pencils, powder, water-soluble) along with tools and techniques to create three-dimensional drawings on paper. Students will also learn simple methods used to create portraits. Naomi will give demonstrations and will tailor her guidance to meet students’ needs. Minimum of 5 students, maximum of 8.
