Adding figures to landscape paintings adds a special zing! Participants no longer need to avoid painting the activity and buzz of a farmers market or exciting city scene. Working from photo references, they will gain the confidence to introduce figures in their compositions. There will be plenty of individual instruction, group critiques, and instructor demonstrations. This is primarily for students who understand their medium of choice, as they will continue working in that medium. Therefore, there is no specific materials list for this class. Painting surfaces and photographic references are covered by the materials fee. Maximum of
