In this two-day workshop, Kathryn will guide students through the process of drawing portraits in three colors. Using graphite, sanguine, and white chalk, students will capture the likeness of the model, the effect of light, and a naturalistic rendering, pulling inspiration from old masters such as Hans Holbein, Peter Paul Rubens, and Jean-Antoine Watteau. Students will work from a live model for the duration of the workshop. All skill levels are welcome. Minimum of 5 students, maximum of 10.
